Dalian MSA has completed the special safety inspection for “JING TAI 58”, a ship that is to set sail for Shanghai recently. This also marks that Dalian MSA has launched the special management for Shanghai EXPO.

MOT has released the Regulations on Special Safety Inspection on Ships for EXPO and Ship Visa Management, requiring that the special safety inspection on Ships for EXPO be conducted from March 1 to November 30. The Regulation has covered the special safety inspection, ship visa and ship security etc., and all the ships involved in EXPO, including those that plan to berth at, work in specific waters or pass the inland rivers in Shanghai from April 1 to November 30 .

Dalian MSA has made work plans for ship supervision and management during EXPO. It has strengthened the visa issuance, safety inspection, information report etc. of the ships sailing to EXPO.
