"BEI HAI JIU 115", a large rescue ship, joined in Beihai Rescue Bureau on August 17. The ship is featured with fast speed, long endurance etc. It can resist 12 class wind and can provide space for rescue helicopter landing.

The vessel power positioning system was equipped for the first time, which can maintain the navigation direction and ship position automatically according to wind, wave and steams.

The ship is 99 m long, 15.2m wide with the main engine of 9000kw and displacement of 4642.68 tons. It can carry over 100 rescued people. Its fastest speed is over 20 knots, endurance 30 days and cruising radius 10,000 nautical miles to reach any port in the world.
