Yu Zhengsheng, a member of Political Bureau of CPC Central Committee and the Secretary of CPC Shanghai Committee, paid a visit to Minhang water inspection station in the afternoon of August 10. He heard the report on EXPO water traffic control by the Deputy Director of Shanghai MSA Hong Chong, and expressed his sincere appreciation to the maritime officials.

Mr. Yu fully affirmed the work of maritime departments in the EXPO water security, and asked them to make persistent efforts in the following days to ensure the navigation safety.

Maritime officials also demonstrated the automatic comparison system of vessel information during Mr. Yu’s visit.
