MSA of Hainan, Guangdong, Guangxi Cooperate for Navigation Safety

Hainan MSA signed maritime management alliance agreement with Guangdong MSA and Guangxi MSA respectively in the morning of August 27, which means that the cooperation among the three maritime sectors became institutionalized.
 
To ensure the efficiency of the alliance agreements, Hainan MSA established cooperation mechanisms with Guangxi MSA and Guangdong MSA respectively including information notification, maritime law enforcement, etc. In addition, the three maritime sectors will establish safety supervision cooperation mechanism of Qiongzhou Strait ro-ro passenger ships as well. Through conducting joint operations of navigation environment and safety inspections and other activities, safety management level of Qiongzhou Strait ro-ro passenger ships can be improved.
 
In recent years, with the platform of south area ship supervision management seminar, Hainan MSA, Guangxi MSA and Guangdong MSA enhanced cooperation and communication gradually. The signing of maritime management alliance agreements made the maritime communication and cooperation among the three provinces more institutionalized and systematic.
 
At the same time, it also further strengthened maritime law enforcement management, standardized law enforcement behavior and enhanced maritime supervision capacity etc. to set up a maritime safety management chain and ensured the stability of Qiongzhou Straits and Pan-Beibu Gulf.
