HAI XUN 11 Escorts 16 Fishermen in Distress

"HAI XUN 11", China's largest and most advanced patrol ship, escorted 16 distressed fishermen from the South China Sea to Qingdao, Shandong Province on March 4 after over 50 hours' voyage.
 
The captain of "HAI XUN 11" Geng Ning said that this rescue mission last for more than 50 hours and 800 nautical miles. It is the first time for "HAI XUN 11" to undertake such an ocean-going mission since it began its service.
