The Consular Affairs Bureau of Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs handed over a letter of thanks for China Search and Rescue Center from Vietnam National Search and Rescue Committee to the Embassy of China in Vietnam recently.

 

With the help of China Search and Rescue Center, 23 Vietnamese fishermen in distress were rescued after the tropical storm Conson.

 

It is stated in the letter that with the help of the search and rescue department and other departments of Vietnam and China, both the Vietnamese and Chinese vessels and people in distress at sea have been saved in time, and are allowed to avoid storms at safe areas as well.

 

Vietnam National Search and Rescue Committee expected to the cooperation between the two stated can get enhanced further in future.
