1.Regulations of the People's Republic China Governing the Registration of Ships
The Regulations was promulgated by State Council Decree 〔1994〕No.155, and entered into force on January 1, 1995. It sets out general provisions, vessel ownership registration, vessel nationality, bareboat charter registration, vessel mark and company flag, alteration registration, cancellation of registration, vessel ownership registration certificate, the renew and reissue of vessel nationality certificate, legal liability, etc.
2. Regulations Governing International Voyage Ships that Entering and Leaving Chinese Ports.
The Regulations was promulgated by State Council Decree No.175〔1995〕, and entered into force on March 1, 1995. It provides the competent authority for ship inspections, and the detail requirements of international voyage ships entering and leaving Chinese ports.
3. The Act on Port Fire Fighting Supervision
The Act was promulgated by Decree of MOT 〔1988〕No.2, and entered into force on August 1, 1988. It sets out the requirements of fire prevention, fire fighting organization, fire extinguish, fire fighting supervision, encouragement and punishment.
4. The Act on Port Security of People's Republic of China
The Act was promulgated by Decree of MOT [2007] No.10 on 17th December 2007, and entered into force on March 1st,2008. It sets out the competent authority for the implementation of the regulation, and the detail requirements of port security level, security evaluation, security plan, port facility security officer, security declaration, security training and exercise, etc.
5. The Act on Ship's Safety Inspection of People's Republic of China
The Act was promulgated by Decree No. 15 of MOT 〔1997〕and entered into force on March 1, 1998. The regulation authorized China MSA to conduct ship inspection. It sets out applicable ships for the inspection, and the detailed implementation, handle process, legal liability, etc.
