  • China, Mongolia signed Memorandum of Understanding on Maritime Cooperation

          China-Mongolia Memorandum of Understanding on Maritime Cooperation was cosigned by the head of China MSA, Xu Ruqing and the director of Mongolia Ship Registry on January 29, in Beijing, under witness of the minister of Ministry of Transport of P.R.C, Li Xiaopeng and that of Ministry of Transportation Development of Mongolia.

         The signing of the memorandum, in line with “One Belt and One Road” spirit, would help to promote the maritime communication and cooperation between China and Mongolia. Under this framework, the two countries would take measures, such as developing education and training, conducting workshops or seminars, strengthening personnel exchanges, sharing information and experience, and strengthening the cooperation on maritime safety and pollution prevention, to enhance the ship management level and improve the ability of maritime convention implementation.
